The event commences at 11.00am with registration taking place from 9.30am - 10.30am
This years race is also a BT London Region Tristar & Youth Series Event.
The race will be run according to BT rules and will take place in a 25m pool and on grass school fields. Please make sure that your child is capable of the distances that are required.
Entries are £11 for British Triathlon members and £13 for non British Triathlon members (which includes a British Triathlon day membership). Please enter early, this race sold out in 2009 and we have a maximum limit, once this limit is reached we are full.
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each category (male and female) and the top team. Also there will be a prize for the school with the most number of competitors finishing the race.
There will be no entries on the day.
The race categories are as follows (age as of 31st Dec 10)
Tri star - 8yrs - Swim 50m & Run 500m
Tri star 1 - 9/10yrs - Swim 150m & Run 1500m
Tri star 2 - 11/12yrs - Swim 250m & Run 2000m
Tri star 3 - 13/14yrs - Swim 350m & Run 3000m
Tri star 4 - 15/16yrs - Swim 450m & Run 3000m

I am wondering if i should enter but i’m not sure if i am going to be able to run 3000 m. I know I would possibly do the swimming but I think it’s a little bit too much for me. I don’t know what to do.

Agata, we have children of all abilities in the race and the emphasis is we want everyone to enjoy the race. There will be children who run and walk the course and you will be most welcome. Please sign up soon as places are getting very limited.
